April 12 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's car dealer Automakedonija [MSE:AUMK] said its consolidated net profit surged to 18.3 million denars ($353,400/296,800 euro) in 2020 from 4.4 million denars a year earlier.
Total operating revenues fell 11.6% on the year at 579.1 million denars, as sale revenues, all from the domestic market, fell 12.3% to 563.9 million denars in 2020, the company said in a bourse filing on Friday.
Operating expenses dropped to 553.8 million denars from 641.3 million denars in 2019, with cost of trading goods sold down 15.1% to 348.2 million denars. The company also decreased its provisions to 2.1 million denars in 2020 from 9.9 million denars a year earlier.
Automakedonija's shares last traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on March 19, at an average price of 2,292 denars, bourse data showed.
