October 21 (SeeNews) - The loan portfolio of North Macedonia's commercial banks rose 6.3% year-on-year to 375.1 billion denars ($7.1 billion/6.1 billion euro) at the end of September, central bank data showed on Thursday.
Month-on-month, the banks' loan portfolio ticked up by 0.7% at the end of September, the central bank said in a statement.
Loans to the corporate sector grew 4.8% on the year, reaching 176.1 billion denars at the end of September, while loans to households came in at 197.1 billion denars, up 7.5%.
