March 21 (SeeNews) - The loan portfolio of North Macedonia's commercial banks rose 7.7% year-on-year to 420.5 billion denars ($7.3 billion/6.8 billion euro) at the end of February, the central bank said on Tuesday.
Month-on-month, the banks' loan portfolio was 0.1% higher at the end of February, the central bank said in a statement.
Loans to the corporate sector grew 8.2% on the year, reaching 202.3 billion denars at the end of February, while loans to households totalled 215.8 billion denars, up 7.2%.
