May 19 (SeeNews) - The loan portfolio of North Macedonia's commercial banks rose 6.3% year-on-year to 425.8 billion denars ($7.5 billion/6.9 billion euro) at the end of April, the central bank said on Friday.
Month-on-month, the banks' loan portfolio was 0.6% higher at the end of April, the central bank said in a statement.
Loans to the corporate sector grew 5.9% on the year, reaching 205.1 billion denars at the end of April, while loans to households totalled 218.3 billion denars, up 6.7%.
