SKOPJE (North Macedonia), August 9 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's government said it will tighten public health measures to limit the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, including requiring a vaccination certificate at open venues, it said.
As of August 16, citizens will have to show proof of receiving at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine to attend outdoor events with more than 30 people, as well as to enter hospitality venues, the government said in a statement on Saturday.
The requirement will apply to all citizens older than 18 years.
Additionally, all indoor events will be banned starting August 16.
On Sunday, North Macedonia recorded 398 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total to 158,025. So far, 5,507 people have died from the disease in the country of 2 million people.
