September 14 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's finance ministry sold 2.6 billion denars ($49.8 million/42.2 million euro) worth of government securities at three auctions held on Tuesday, central bank data showed.
The ministry sold 689.73 million denars worth of one-year Treasury bills, 320 million denars worth of three-year T-notes and 1.6 billion denars worth of 15-year government bonds, the central bank data showed.
The central bank sells government securities on behalf of the finance ministry through volume tenders in which the price and coupon are set in advance and primary dealers bid only with amounts.
