March 14 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's government decided to increase the minimum monthly net wage to 20,175 denars ($350/327.8 euro), up by 12%.
The increase enters into force as of the beginning of March, North Macedonia's government said in a statement on Monday.
The minimum monthly gross wage now stands at 29,739 denars.
North Macedonia's government last increased the minimum monthly net wage to 18,000 denars from 14,500 denars in March 2022.
The real net wage in North Macedonia decreased 3.3% year-on-year in December, after falling by 5.2% on the year in November, according to the latest data published by the national statistical office. In nominal terms, the average net wage added 14.8% on the year in December, reaching 34,364 denars, Makstat has said.
