January 12 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia's economy minister Kreshnik Bekteshi said that the government is working on a fifth package of measures worth 50 million euro ($60.8 million) that will be aimed at supporting businesses hit by the coronavirus outbreak.
The implementation of the new package will begin in February, the government quoted Bekteshi as saying in a talk show on local TV channel 24 on Monday.
"We already designed the measures and they will target sectors which the pandemic has affected the most through declines in profits and job losses," Bekteshi said.
North Macedonia's previous four support packages for people and businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic were worth a total of 1 billion euro.
