SKOPJE (North Macedonia), March 4 (SeeNews) – North Macedonia’s roads authority, PESR, has invited tenders for the reconstruction of four national and regional road sections, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) said.
Tenders must be delivered until April 22, as the construction works will be financed with proceeds of an EBRD loan, the bank said in a procurement notice on Tuesday.
The projects are part of a 181 million euro ($201.7 million) EBRD-financed programme for the construction or reconstruction or rehabilitation of national and regional road sections in North Macedonia.
The project foresees the rehabilitation of 4 lots – 10.75 km section Petrovec – Katlanovo of motorway A1, 18.8 km regional road Mavrovi Anovi – Zirovnica, 25.7 km regional road Kicevo - Makedonski Brod, and 16 km regional road Karpalak – Zelino.
“Tenders are invited for one or more lots. Each lot must be priced separately. Tenders for more than one lot may offer discounts and such discounts will be considered in the comparison of tenders,” the bank noted.
Tendering for contract is open to firms from any country.
