SOFIA (Bulgaria), August 22 (SeeNews) – Hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] was the top blue-chip decliner on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday, bourse data showed.
M+S Hydraulic shares closed 1.14% lower at 8.205 levs ($4.9/4.2 euro) in a trading volume of 1,335 units.
Total trading turnover on the BSE rose to 1.4 million levs on Tuesday from 917,100 levs on Monday.
Drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] was the most traded blue-chip company on Tuesday, as 74,710 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 4.743 levs.
The blue-chip SOFIX index fell by a further 0.14% to 719.67 points, after depreciating 0.27% on Monday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, fell by 0.11% to 137.13 points, after dropping by 0.14% on Monday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, increased 0.34% to 117.67 points on Tuesday. On Monday, the index closed 0.09% lower.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.34% to 564.12 points, after rising 0.49% on Monday.
Industrial group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] rose the most among blue chips on Tuesday, closing 1.14% higher at 1.949 levs.
