SOFIA (Bulgaria), June 21 (SeeNews) – Hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] was the top blue-chip decliner on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
M+S Hydraulic closed 2.15% lower at 8.170 levs ($4.65/4.17 euro) in a trading volume of 1,050 shares. Earlier on Wednesday, the company reported a non-consolidated gross profit of 7.1 million levs for the January-May period, up from 6.8 million levs in the like period of 2016.
Industrial conglomerate Chimimport [BUL:6C4] was the most traded blue-chip on Wednesday as 103,218 of its shares changed hands at an average price of 1.771 levs.
Resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] led the list of blue-chip gainers on the Sofia bourse, closing 3.89% higher at 66.500 levs as 1,205 of the company shares changed hands on Wednesday.
BSE's total trading turnover rose to 1 million levs on Wednesday, compared to 372,900 levs on Tuesday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index fell by 0.16% to 686.25 points, after adding 0.20% on Tuesday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, edged up 0.13% to 131.56 points, following a decrease of 0.02% on Monday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, added 0.49% to 111.13 points on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the index added 0.33%.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, increased by 0.43% to 523.41 points, after falling by 0.07% on Tuesday.
