August 7 (SeeNews) - Hydraulic equipment manufacturer M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] rose the most among the blue-chip gainers on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday, bourse data showed.
M+S Hydraulic shares closed at 8.61 levs, up 3.61%, as 1,231 units changed hands.
Total stock trading turnover shrank to 2.5 million levs on Monday from 52.4 million levs on Friday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.58% to 724.21 points, after edging down 0.01% on Friday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, grew by 0.56% to 137.12 points, after adding 0.10% on Friday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, increased 0.97% to 117.12 points on Monday. On Friday, the index fell 0.39%.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.86% to 555.14 points, after closing 0.52% lower on Friday.
Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] was the most traded blue-chip on Monday, as 28,269 of its shares were traded at an average price of 1.797 levs.
Industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] fell the most among blue chips on Monday, closing 1.75% lower at 8.4 levs.
