August 12 (SeeNews) - Three of the four main equity indices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended the trading week on the rise, as a 10.78% jump in diversified group Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:IHB] pushing the blue-chip SOFIX index up 0.72% to 619.18 points.
As many as 3,821 shares in IHB changed hands on Friday at an average price of 2.26 levs.
The rise in IHB, as well as a a 5.26% rise in Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH] to 9.00 levs, also contributed to increases in both the BGBX40 index, which tracks the bourse's 40 most traded shares, and the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight.
The BGBX40 closed 0.70% higher at 143.06 points, while the BGTR30 index added 0.64% to 744.73 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was the only one to post a decline on Friday, inching down 0.03% to 185.24 points, as a result of a 1.00% slip in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 2.96 levs in a trading volume of 22,670 shares.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market slipped to 799,653 levs ($419,660/408,860 euro ) on Friday from some 2.21 million levs on Thursday.
