April 25 (SeeNews) - Three of the four main equity indices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) finished Tuesday's trading session on the rise, as climbs in poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6] and fertiliser maker Neochim [BUL:NEOH] helped push the blue-chip SOFIX index up 0.45% to 610.08 points.
Gradus closed 2.80% higher at 1.47 levs, while Neochim added 2.75% to 37.40 levs.
The top SOFIX decliner was Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:ATER], which dipped 1.77% to 2.22 levs.
The largest gain on the day was registered by battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:ELHM], which surged 15.79% to 1.10 levs with 1,340 shares traded.
Elhim Iskra's rise helped propel the BGBX40 index, which tracks the bourse's 40 most traded shares, 0.75% higher to 140.33 points. Among the constituents of the index, diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH] also increased significantly, by 6.74% to 9.50 levs.
Stara Planina Hold, Gradus and Neochim also drove up the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The BGTR30 ticked up 0.27% to 721.02 points.
The sole index to finish in red territory was the BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts and which erased 0.31% to 188.94 points.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market edged down to 253,043 levs ($141,962/129,378 euro) on Tuesday from 293,641 levs on Monday.
The most traded stock on the day was IoT products maker Allterco [BUL:A4L], which closed 0.90% higher at 22.50 levs. Allterco generated turnover of 96,953 levs after 4,309 of its shares were bought and sold.
