September 19 (SeeNews) - Most main share indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed higher on Monday, with the blue-chip SOFIX index rising the most, by 0.45% to 606.48 points, bourse data showed.
Energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG] led the gainers among the blue-chips, with a 3.96% share price increase to 2.10 levs and 2,500 units traded.
On the losing side, fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:NEOH] erased 3.55% to 38.00 levs.
The gain in Eurohold also allowed the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, to remain in green territory.
The BGBX40 closed 0.25% higher at 140.28 points whereas the BGTR30 inched up 0.04% to 731.69 points.
Among BGBX40 constituents, Industrial Capital Holding [BUL:HIKA] erased the most on Monday, down 4.86% to 2.74 levs with 1,280 shares traded.
The biggest decliner among companies in the BGTR30 index was Neochim, followed by investment firm Eleven Capital [BUL:11C] which dropped 2.78% to 21.00 levs.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was the only one to finish in the red on the first day of the trading week, dipping 0.41% to 181.89 points. The REIT index's decline came on the back of a 1.72% decrease in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.28 levs in a trading volume of 3,040.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market fell to 269,172 levs ($137,785/137,625 euro) on Monday from 912,754 levs on Friday.
The most traded company was Premier Fund REIT [BUL:PREM], which generated almost half of the total turnover, or 101,260 levs, with as many as 8,300 shares bought and sold. Premier Fund REIT closed 0.81% lower at 12.20 levs.
