January 16 (SeeNews) - Three of the four main indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in red territory on Monday, with the blue-chip SOFIX falling by 0.59% to 619.61 points after a loss at Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER].
The REIT fell by 3.53% to 3.28 points with 33,331 shares traded.
Advance Terrafund also pushed down the BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts and the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse.
BGREIT closed 0.21% lower at 186.30 points after a 1.85% gain at Balkan and Sea Properties REIT [BUL:BSP] and a 0.97% gain at Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:BREF] could not offset Advance Terrafund loss.
BGBX40 declined by 0.12% to 142.51 points. The top loser in the index was hotel operator Albena [BUL:ALB], which fell by 3.62% to 26.60 levs. It was followed by Advance Terrafund and betting operator Telematic Interactive Bulgaria [BSE:TIB], which went down by 2.52% to 15.50 levs.
The BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, was the only one to end trading in green after rising by 0.19% to 747.54 points. It was pushed up by farming group Agria Group Holding [BUL:AGH], which jumped by 5.17% to 28.50 levs. Additionally, diversified group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:SPH] rose by 3.26% to 9.50 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange fell to 574,257 levs ($317,702/293,613 euro) on Monday from 786,268 levs at the end of last week.
With 129,326 levs, diversified group Doverie United Holding [BUL:DUH] was the top stock by turnover. The company closed 1.17% higher at 8.62 levs with 15,003 shares traded.
