June 5 (SeeNews) - UK-based Most Connections intends to build a 50 million marka ($28.8 million/25.6 million euro) golf park in Bosnia's Mostar, some 130 kilometres from Sarajevo, local media reported.
"Here, we would have golf courses with 18 holes, 280 to 300 urban villa to accommodate all golf enthusiasts, two hotels and a lot of tourist and business contents which would satisfy the tastes of the elite clients," news portal ekapija.ba quoted the director of the institute for spatial planning of the city of Mostar, Salem Bubalo, as saying on Tuesday.
A third of the 100-hectare site of the future golf course is still owned by the city. Most Connections are awaiting the city authorities to transfer ownership of that portion of land to them before launching the project.
According to Bubalo, a feasibility analysis of the project has shown that the 50 million marka investment will finance the construction of the golf course only, without any buildings.
