June 22 (SeeNews) - Moody's has upgraded its long-term local and foreign-currency deposit ratings on Slovenia's largest lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) to "Ba1" from "Ba3" and has changed its outlook on the bank to stable from rating under review, NLB said on Thursday.
The upgrade reflects an improved operating environment in Slovenia and the continued improvement in the bank's credit fundamentals, NLB said in a Ljubljana bourse filing, citing a Moody's report.
The agency also underlined NLB’s improvements in the bank's asset quality, profitability as well as maintaining strong capital adequacy.
