November 4 (SeeNews) - Household electricity consumption in Montenegro went up 6.1% on an annual basis to 92.1 million kWh in September, the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) said.
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro went down by 28.4% in September, EPCG said in a statement.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 26.62 euro ($26.06) in September.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 35.04 euro, was paid by households in Ulcinj, while the lowest one, of 19.91 euro, was registered in the town of Zabljak.
The Montenegrin government owns 88.7% of EPCG, followed by the company itself with 10%. The remainder belongs to smaller shareholders.
