PODGORICA (Montenegro), August 7 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin coal miner Rudnik Uglja [MNG:RUPV] said its net profit rose to 1.4 million euro ($1.6 million) in the first half of 2019 from 785,000 euro in the like period of the previous year.
The company's revenue went up 2.4% on the year to 17 million euro while operating costs fell 1.3% to 24.2 million euro, Rudnik Uglja said in an interim financial statement filed with the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
Operating profit stood at 1.8 million euro in the first half, up from 1.2 million euro in the prior-year period, Rudnik Uglja said.
