Montenegro's retail sales growth slows in December

PODGORICA (Montenegro), February 5 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's retail sales grew by a real 3.5% year-on-year in December, after increasing by 4.9% a month earlier, official figures showed.

On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover rose by a real 14.4% in December, after declining by 9.4% in November, according to data published by the country's statistical office, Monstat.

Calculated in current prices, retail sales went up by 4.8% on the year in December after rising by 4.9% in November.
