September 30 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's retail sales fell by a real 36.6% year-on-year in August, after decreasing by 31.9% a month earlier, official figures showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover went up by a real 4.5% in August, after rising by 0.3% in July, according to data published by the country's statistical office, Monstat.
Calculated in current prices, retail sales went down by 37.1% on the year in August after falling by 32.4% in July.
