June 30 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's retail sales fell by a real 19.1% year-on-year in May, after decreasing by 25.9% a month earlier, official figures showed.
On a monthly comparison basis, retail trade turnover went up by a real 14.2% in May, after declining by 26.5% in April, according to data published by the country's statistical office, Monstat.
Calculated in current prices, retail sales went down by 20.1% on the year in May after falling by 26.2% in April.
