May 25 (SeeNews) - Montenegro’s total power consumption in April grew by 4% on an annual basis to 231 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said on Wednesday.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 35%, of total power consumption in April, CEDIS said in a statement.
A total of 172 new users were connected to the distribution network in April.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro edged up 0.22% on an annual basis to 106.7 million kWh in April, the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro fell by 18% in April.
