PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 13 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose 8.3% year-on-year to 92.8 million kWh in October, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro grew by 4.7% in October, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 28.58 euro ($33.75) in October.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 34.80 euro, was paid by households in Podgorica, while the lowest one, of 18.18 euro, was registered in the town of Zabljak.
The Montenegrin government owns 88.7% of EPCG, followed by the company itself with 10%. The remainder belongs to smaller shareholders.
