PODGORICA (Montenegro), July 1 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s total power consumption in May rose by 10% on the year to 205.6 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the country's total power consumption grew by 5% in May, CEDIS said in a statement last week.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 36%, of total power consumption in May, CEDIS said.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose 12.6% year-on-year to 95.0 million kWh in May, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro grew by 5.3% in May, figures showed.
