PODGORICA (Montenegro), June 30 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s total power consumption in May declined by 13% on the year to 179.6 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the country's total power consumption fell by 5% in May, CEDIS said in a statement last week.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 38%, of total power consumption in May, CEDIS said.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro declined 8% year-on-year to 87.5 million kWh in May, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro fell by 13.4% in May, figures showed.
