June 29 (SeeNews) - Household electricity consumption in Montenegro went up 3.4% on an annual basis to 90.8 million kWh in May, the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) said.
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro fell by 15% in May, EPCG said in a statement.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 25.61 euro ($27.1) in May.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 29.17 euro, was paid by households in Podgorica, while the lowest one, of 17.50 euro, was registered in the town of Zabljak.
The Montenegrin government owns 88.7% of EPCG, followed by the company itself with 10%. The remainder belongs to smaller shareholders.
