PODGORICA (Montenegro), April 24 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s total power consumption in March fell by 12% on the year to 220 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said on Wednesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the country's total power consumption declined by 7% in March, CEDIS said in a statement.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 40%, of total power consumption in March, CEDIS said.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro fell 12.8% year-on-year to 105.8 million kWh in March, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro fell by 9% in March, figures showed.
