October 31 (SeeNews) - Montenegrin insurer Lovcen Osiguranje [MNG:LOVH] reported a net profit of 1.44 million euro ($1.43 million) in the first nine months of the year, up 134% compared to the like period in 2021, it said.
Premium income rose to 17.3 million euro from 16.5 million euro, while operating costs went down 4.3% to 10.1 million euro, Lovcen Osiguranje said in a filing with the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
The insurer's gross operating profit went up 17% year on year to 7.5 million euro in the January-September period.
Lovcen Osiguranje is part of the Slovenia-based Triglav Group. The company's capital is comprised of 1,828,634 shares with a nominal price of 5.72 euro apiece and is listed on the free market segment of the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
