PODGORICA (Montenegro), July 31 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s total power consumption in June rose by 7% on the year to 215.6 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the country's total power consumption grew by 5% in June, CEDIS said in a statement last week.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 37%, of total power consumption in June, CEDIS said.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose 9.1% year-on-year to 97.8 million kWh in June, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro grew by 2.9% in June, figures showed.
