PODGORICA (Montenegro), August 28 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s total power consumption in July rose by 19% on the month to 237.8 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 34%, of total power consumption in June, CEDIS said in a statement on Thursday.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro decreased by 3% year-on-year to 109.3 million kWh in July, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose by 22% in July.
