PODGORICA (Montenegro), August 15 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro decreased by 3% year-on-year to 109.3 million kWh in July, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose by 22% in July, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 35 euro ($39.60) in July.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 59.77 euro, was paid by households in Ulcinj, while the lowest one, of 23.25 euro, was registered in the town of Pljevlja.
The Montenegrin government is the majority owner of EPCG with a 70.16% stake. Italian company A2A owns the remainder.
