PODGORICA (Montenegro), March 2 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s total power consumption in January fell by 7% on the year to 264.5 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the country's total power consumption grew by 5% in January, CEDIS said in a statement last week.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 41%, of total power consumption in January, CEDIS said in a statement last week.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro declined 7.7% year-on-year to 134.5 million kWh in January, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose by 9.6% in January, figures showed.
