PODGORICA (Montenegro), January 5 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s total power consumption rose by 4% year-on-year in the eleven months through November to 2,404.6 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said.
In November alone, the total power consumption in Montenegro increased by 14% month-on-month to 219.3 GWh, but remained unchanged on an annual basis, CEDIS said in a statement posted on its website last week.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 41%, of total power consumption in November.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro increased by 17.6% month-on-month to 104.2 million kWh in November, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG) last month.
On a year-on-year comparison basis, household electricity consumption fell 1.2% in November.
