PODGORICA (Montenegro), July 11 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s two international airports, Podgorica and Tivat airports serviced a combined 774,764 passengers in the first half of 2017, an increase of 23% on the year, data from the country's state-owned airport operator Aerodromi Crne Gore showed.
Podgorica airport serviced 417,862 passengers in the first half of 2017, up 23.5%, according to data posted on the website of Aerodromi Crne Gore.
Tivat airport, in turn, handled 356,902 passengers in the first six months of the year, up 22.4%.
The total number of aircraft serviced by the two airports went up by 11% in the period.
The passenger traffic of Podgorica and Tivat airports stood at 201,149 in the first quarter of 2017, versus 261,398 in October-December 2016, data from .
