PODGORICA (Montenegro), May 20 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s Hipotekarna Banka [MNG:HIBP] posted a net profit of 1.2 million euro ($1.3 million) in the first quarter of 2020, down from 2.1 million euro in the like period of last year, it said.
Hipotekarna Banka's net interest income came in at 3.8 million euro, up 6.7% on the year, while net fee and commission income fell 46.4% to 1.1 million euro, according to the lender's interim financial statement, posted on the website of the Montenegro Stock Exchange.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 249.8 million euro, while deposits totalled 420.7 million euro at the end of March.
