PODGORICA (Montenegro), August 13 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s Hipotekarna Banka [MNG:HIBP] posted a net profit of 2.7 million euro ($3.1 million) in the first half of 2018, up from 1.6 million euro in the like period of the previous year.
Hipotekarna Banka's net interest income came in at 6.6 million euro, up 0.5% on the year in the first half, while net fee and commission income rose 13.5% to 3.5 million euro, according to the lender's financial statement, posted on the website of Montenegro's central bank.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 265.5 million euro, while deposits totalled 378.4 million euro at the end of June.
