October 8 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's first-half trade deficit increased by 48.97% on the year to a preliminary 589 million euro ($830 million), the Economic Development Ministry said on Monday.
The country's exports through June increased by an annual 0.72% and imports rose by 29.29%, the ministry said in a statement.
Montenegro’s trade deficit widened to 855.5 million euro at the end of last year from 513.6 million euro in 2005.
