November 15 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's government adopted the 2022 draft budget envisaging a fiscal deficit of 205.1 million euro ($234.8 million euro), equivalent to 3.87% of the projected gross domestic product (GDP), it said.
The draft budget targets revenues of 1.968 billion euro and expenses of 2.173 billion euro, the government said in a statement on Friday.
The government envisages 248.3 million euro capital investments in 2022, it said.
Montenegro reported a budget deficit of 64.7 million euro in the first nine months of 2021, compared to a deficit of 332.9 million euro in the like period of 2020.
In 2020, the country's budget was in deficit of 459.1 billion dinars, compared to a surplus of 12.8 billion dinars in the previous year.
