November 18 (SeeNews) - The Montenegrin government said it has adopted next year's budget draft targeting a deficit of 50 million euro ($55 million), equivalent to 0.99% of GDP.
The budget draft is built on expectations for 3.4% economic growth in 2020, the government said in a statement on Friday.
Total budget revenue next year is planned at 2.579 billion euro, the government said, without providing a figure for the planned total spending.
In July, the government revised the 2019 budget bill, lifting slightly the anticipated deficit to 142.6 million euro, from the originally projected gap of 142.2 million euro, still equivalent to around 3.0% of GDP.
Montenegro's 2018 budget deficit amounted to 159.2 million euro, equivalent to 3.5% of GDP.
