March 15 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by a real 3.3% on the year in the fourth quarter of 2022, following 3.2% annual growth in the previous quarter, the statistical office said on Wednesday, citing preliminary data.
The country’s GDP totalled 1.545 billion euro ($1.650 billion) at current prices in the fourth quarter of 2022, up from 1.339 billion euro a year earlier, the statistical office said in a statement.
Final consumption expenditure rose to 1.515 billion euro in the fourth quarter of 2022 from 1.260 billion euro in the like period of the previous year. Exports totalled 739 million euro and imports amounted to 1.169 billion euro.
In the fourth quarter of 2021, Montenegro's GDP grew by a real 8.2% year-on-year.
