PODGORICA (Montenegro), March 12 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose 1.4% year-on-year to 116.1 million kWh in February, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro fell by 20.3% in February, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 37.75 euro ($42.59) in February.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 49.64 euro, was paid by households in Tivat, while the lowest one, of 20.61 euro, was registered in the town of Mojkovac.
The Montenegrin government is the majority owner of EPCG with a 70.16% stake. Italian company A2A owns the remainder.
