PODGORICA (Montenegro), March 16 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro increased by 5.7% year-on-year to 117.8 million kWh in February, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro fell by 8% in February, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 38.69 euro ($47.69) in February.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 50.36 euro, was paid by households in Tivat, while the lowest one, of 20.19 euro, was registered in the town of Zabljak.
The Montenegrin government is majority owner of EPCG with a 57% stake. Italian company A2A owns 41.75%.
