PODGORICA (Montenegro), August 14 (SeeNews) – Erste Bank Podgorica, the Montenegrin unit of Austria's Erste Group, has said its net profit fell by 19% on the year to 3.4 million euro ($4 million) in the first half of 2017.
The bank's net interest income fell to 9.5 million euro in the first half from 10.2 million euro in the like period of last year, while net fee and commission income grew to 1.5 million euro from 1.2 million euro, according to the lender's financial statement, posted on the website of Montenegro's central bank.
The bank's portfolio of customer deposits amounted to 327.1 million euro, while customer loans totalled 270.1 million euro at the end of the first half of 2017.
