PODGORICA (Montenegro), November 17 (SeeNews) – Erste Bank Podgorica, the Montenegrin unit of Austria's Erste Group, said its net profit rose by 6.9% on the year to 6.2 million euro ($7.3 million) in the first nine months of 2017.
The bank's net interest income fell to 14.5 million euro in the first nine months of 2017 from 14.7 million euro in the like period of last year, while net fee and commission income grew to 2.3 million euro from 1.8 million euro, according to the lender's financial statement posted on the website of Montenegro's central bank.
The bank's portfolio of customer deposits amounted to 344.5 million euro, while customer loans totalled 274.3 million euro at the end of the first half of 2017.
