PODGORICA (Montenegro), January 26 (SeeNews) – The number of mobile phone subscribers in Montenegro declined 9.7% year-on-year to 1,082,036 at the end of November, according to data from the national telecommunications regulator, EKIP.
The mobile penetration rate in Montenegro decreased to 174.51% in November from 175.57% at the end of October, when the number of subscribers was 1,088,611, figures posted on the EKIP website show.
Montenegro, with a population of around 680,000, has three mobile operators - Telenor, Crnogorski Telekom and M:tel. M:tel had a 34.43% share of the overall number of subscribers at the end of November, followed by Crnogorski Telekom with 33.54% and Telenor with 32.03%.
The share of postpaid subscribers was 57.87% at the end of November.
