May 21 (SeeNews) - Montenegro's economy ministry said it inviting bids for leasing out land for the construction and operation of a photovoltaic (PV) plant in the municipality of Ulcinj.
The tender envisages the construction of a PV plant with installed capacity of more than 200 MW on a plot of land located in Briska Gora, which spreads on an area of 6.621 million square metres, the government said in a notice on Saturday.
The land plot will be leased out for a period of 30 years, the economy ministry said.
The deadline for submitting offers is September 3.
The selected bidder will have to install at least 50 MW of PV capacity in a period of 18 months after the signing of the agreement and to lift it to more than 200 MW in the next 36 months.
