PODGORICA (Montenegro), January 15 (SeeNews) – Household electricity consumption in Montenegro decreased by 1.5% year-on-year to 130.7 million kWh in December, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose 25.3% in December, figures showed.
The average monthly household electricity bill in Montenegro was 41.5 euro ($51) in December.
The highest average monthly electricity bill, of 54.26 euro, was paid by households in Kotor, while the lowest one, of 20.87 euro, was registered in the town of Zabljak.
The Montenegrin government is majority owner of EPCG with a 57% stake. Italian company A2A owns 41.75%.
In July, A2A officially applied before the government to dispose of its shareholding in the company.
