PODGORICA (Montenegro), May 13 (SeeNews) – The Montenegrin municipality of Danilovgrad will start tendering for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant and new sewers and the upgrade of existing ones in the third quarter, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which will finance the project, said on Tuesday.
The procurements will be part of a 6.0 million euro ($8.2 million) municipal infrastructure project, the EBRD said in a statement on its website.
The other components of the project include the upgrade and extension of the water supply network, for which the works are in progress, and the supply and installation of a supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA), for which the contracting is expecting in the third quarter of the year.
Danilovgrad is located in central Montenegro.
